By: Grace | Published: January 4, 2010 | 7 Comments

Seven lords, sent away by the traitor Miraz to seek new lands. Not one has returned, now the true king of Narnia, Caspian the Tenth, must go out and search for them as he vowed to do. Three children, Edmund, Lucy, and their horrid cousin Eustace are sucked through a picture right onto the deck of the vessel, The Dawn Treader. Now they go on an ocean adventure in search of men, territories, and maybe even Aslan’s country itself. Past the dangers of wizards, golden water, dragons, sea monsters, and treacherous storms the brave company journey on into the distant and unknown East.

This is a wonderful book. There really isn’t a big bad guy who they have to defeat, it’s more of a book of miscellaneous adventures. But a thrilling one still. The movie should be coming out either this May, or December.

Mine is “The Horse and His Boy”. That’s my dad’s favorite too. And after that my second favorite is “The Silver Chair”. That one will make and AWESOME movie. And “The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe” will always have a special place in my heart.

HOORAY! It would be cool if we could like go together or something. But I don’t know, we’ll see. It would be cool if mom and dad decided to do the anniversary thing and we got to stay at your house again. Only this time I am checking my sheets and we would make SURE that we brought an air pump!

Yeah, The Hobbit is coming out this summer, too (I think that’s what Daddy says).

Yeah. I want to see it, but I am more interested in a movie that just came out for now. I think it’s called Etraordinary Measures. I know that it has Harrison Ford in it. Yay!
