Miraculous and Beautiful Stories

Do you ever get sick of the news? All they talk about is this murder, that person in that scandal, so and so doing this horrible thing, and blah blah blah about the stock market? I DO! If you never did anything but listen to the news you would get brainwashed into thinking that nothing good every happens on this planet. I think that it is about time some positive stories got out about the incredible things God has done. So this is what I think we should do, we should keep our ears and eyes open for good stories about God’s miraculous work. It doesn’t have to be big, it can be your baby cousin saying her first word, but still, we need to hear more about that kind of thing. So please comment and put some positive stories on here, then I can post them, we’ll call it, “Gracie’s Miraculous and Beautiful Stories Network!” Say that 10 times!

Here’s a starter. I heard about this kid that fell into a frozen lake and was under water for 20 minutes straight. When he got rescued they rushed him to the hospital, his pastor and parents were praying really hard for him. Then his friends started and by the time it was done he had 15000 people praying! Today he walked out of the hospital fine and healthy and said, “I am a living miracle!”

I am sorry you have been sick! I hope you are better soon! I have a good news story. I heard on the news tonight that they rescued a man in Haiti who had been buried under the earthquake rubble for TWO WEEKS and he is going to be ok! They also found a small child who was buried under rubble for 8 days and he is ok. And they air lifted a group of orphans to the US to be adopted by families here. That is all good news… or God news!!!

WOW! WONDERFUL! Isn’t it cool how even in horrible situations God uses them to bring glory and revel Himself more? It gives you something to hold onto, believe, I know.

I am definitely giving thanks for the sake of my nemesis. I won’t be naming anyone, so we’ll just call him No Name. I had a project in Drama, and Mrs. M paired me with this guy who is absolutely horrifying in his behavior. He wouldn’t work, so I basically did the project by myself, and I was full of anger at the end. He is still breathing, and I (lucky for him) decided to let him live. Thank the Lord for his grace and mercy that fills in for my lack of those fruits. Let’s just say Mr. No-Name would be six feet under if the Lord hadn’t restrained me. (honestly, I think an angel probably had to tie me down) Anyway, that’s a praise.
