Movie Review: The Inheritance

Edith has grown up at Evenswood from infant-hood. The Hamilton’s adopted her to be a companion for their own daughter, Amy. Now the two girls have grown up, Edith is faced with the reality of her position. Especially when she meets handsome James Percy, a man who is far above her rank.

Mrs. Hamilton has asked Edith to help their cousin, Ida, feel at home. But that is especially difficult when Ida falls in love with James as well. Edith must now find her place in the world that she has always known, has always been her own, or is it?

I think I just wrote a pretty bad review, it’s a complicated plot. But a very sweet, wholesome, and pure romance. One that doesn’t have a bunch of disgusting love junk, yet the characters are truly noble and really do love each other. Oh and the outfits, oh bliss! This is definitely a “chick flick”. Emily, we are watching this together sometime!
