Our dear little friend, “Gloria” the Killdeer. This is her second year of building a nest at the end of our driveway. She now has 4 eggs. Last year she had 4 too, their names were, “Peter”, “Susan”, “Edmund”, and “Lucy”. Her mate’s name is, “Aslan”. This year her eggs will be named, “Jill”, “Eustace”, “Digory”, and “Polly”, do you see a pattern here?
